Accelerated Reader Information

Accelerated Reader Program:

We will complete Accelerated Reader every 9-week quarter.  The students will need to earn 3 points per quarter to obtain their quarterly goal.  A note will be sent home every quarter as a reminder of the Accelerated Reader goal. Along with this note, will be slips of paper for you to fill out and send to school so that I know your child is ready to take an AR test on a book that he/she may have read at home.  We will also be reading stories together in class, and the students will be able to take tests on these as well.  I will also have numerous books in the classroom that the students can read and take AR tests on.
