Homework

I am eliminating homework this year. Your child is in school for 7 hours a day and we work very hard while we are here. Enjoy your time in the evening with them. 

Homework Study - If you scroll down the bottom of the 4th page.  It says- “For elementary schools the effect of homework on achievement is negligible.  It continues to say, “For elementary students no amount of homework- large or small- affects achievement.”   

READ!- Reading in the evenings is one of the most beneficial things you can do.    

If you feel homework is necessary I can provide optional homework for your child.
